How has Covid 19 changed things at Sweet Wheat?
Health and safety of both myself as the baker, and clients has been taken very seriously. In response to Covid 19, the following changes have occurred:
- Sanitary measures have been increased beyond what they already were
- All public and private cookie classes have been cancelled until further notice
- All cookies are individually packaged for sanitary transport (& for easy sharing with your Quaran-team!)
- Limiting orders. Though things are improving slowly, but Sweet Wheat is still facing some supply shortages and/or delays. A majority of specialty products are ordered from out of province, which complicates things and increases costs. Your patience and understanding is truly appreciated!
where can we find your products?
We are so excited to regularly stock Prairie + Pine, in the Lawson Heights Mall! It is a store dedicated to, and home to, 75+ other small and locally owned small businesses. There is so much talent in Saskatchewan, we encourage you to check it out - especially if you’re on the hunt for gifts!
Cookie restocks tend* to go quickly though - so we recommend checking social media for restock updates and new things that hit the shelves. :)
How do I place an order? do you take custom orderS? (weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc)
At this time, Sweet Wheat has switched gears to focus on fun holiday sales, and has closed our calendar for custom orders. But, you’re more than welcome to inquire to be put on the waitlist!
If you’re looking for wedding cakes, birthday cookies, or any custom goodies, you’re welcome to reach out and we’re happy to refer you on to other local + talented bakers! Community > Competition over here, always!

At this time, we are not offering shipping.

All items are prepared and baked with love in a home kitchen that is licensed, registered, insured and food-safe certified. Your order may contain ingredients including, but not limited to, eggs, milk, nuts, gluten, and other ingredients that may cause allergic reactions. Customers concerned with food allergies should be aware of this risk. Anyone with severe food allergies should not consume any products provided by Sweet Wheat Bakeshop.
With placing your order, you assume all responsibility for notifying anyone who may consume or come in contact with products of the existence of these ingredients and the risks posed accordingly.
